Our beautiful new pool is indoors, and we heat the water so that young and old alike can feel comfortable. Our certified, experienced staff is well known for its quality instruction at all levels. We offer swimming lessons for all ages, including parent and child classes, adult aquacize classes, adult swim time, family open swim and open swims for public use. We have classes for people who suffer from arthritis and The Therapeutic Center in Madison uses our pool to offer aqua therapy for their patients. ***Please see our pricing page for details regarding pool membership***

Gymnastics, swimming, dance, and aqua therapy programs for preschool ages through seniors in two gyms and an indoor heated pool. Click on any part of the gym below to learn more about our programs.

Swimming Level Descriptions:

Parent & Child  Age 6 months to 3 years. Introduction to water through songs and games. Includes water safety instructions.

Pre-Beginner ­ Has little or no water experience, or is fearful. Class will use bubbles.

Beginner ­ Will move through water with bubble, blow bubbles, and get face and hair wet.

Advanced Beginner 1 ­ Use of small bubble or no bubble. Swims under water, bobs 10 times. Can get to horizontal body position.

Advanced Beginner 2 ­ Beginner front and back crawl.

Intermediate ­ No bubble.  Front and back crawl, breast stroke.

Advanced ­ Front crawl with rotary breathing.  Back crawl.  Able to swim laps.

Water Exercise Descriptions:

Aquacise ­ Conditioning and toning program in the water. No swimming necessary.

Arthritis ­ Participants do not need to know how to swim. An arthritis Foundation nationally certified program to benefit those with all types of Arthritis. The water reduces the impact on the joints allowing people with Arthritis to exercise.

Therapy ­ All therapy participants register through the Cross Therapy in Guilford at 203-458-1511.
